Taekwondo

Alan has been training in Taekwondo for over 32 years and is presently a 7th Dan Blackbelt in both main styles of Taekwondo, ITF and WTF (WT)

CCMA Taekwondo is unique in that the school teaches both styles of Taekwondo so that a student can learn either or both styles if they so wish.

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that teaches hand and foot techniques that include Patterns and their applications, strikes, blocks, kicks, and sparring exercises. It also includes self-defence techniques, take-downs, and restraints, and also weapons (at senior level).
The classes also get you fit, supple, and give you confidence and competence.

CCMA mainly teaches the Traditional style of Taekwondo and, although sparring is included, does not include Competitions.

CCMA follows the basic principles (tenets) of Taekwondo:

Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control & Indomitable Spirit. It teaches students to respect the Art, the Instructors and each other.

CCMA presently runs classes each Sunday at the Cubert Village Hall, The Retreat, Chynowen Lane, Cubert, Cornwall. TR8 5HE, between 10.am – 11.am
